Hello world!

Hi my name is Barry and I have been sharing math puzzles with the world for a couple years now.

My first ever math blog started with an article I wrote about the dozenal system (base-12). It was a summer project at the UK boarding school I went to for 2 years, in Somerset, England.

After submitting the article to the teacher, I thought it would be nice if I could put it somewhere on the internet for everyone to see.

So there I was, starting my first ever Medium account. Over the years, life happened and like a phoenix, I rekindled my blogging empire and launched Math Games on Medium.

At the time of writing, I have reached over 67k+ followers with over 100k+ readers every month on Math Games. Through out the years, I have shared over thousands of math puzzles, held online math competitions, as well as shared my personal philosophies, essays and poetries under Beatus Lignum.

I have recently graduated and dedicated more time and effort into the Math Games brand. I am working on my YouTube Channel, my Medium Blog, and most importantly this website.

This is the digital conduit through which my thoughts and my musings with mathematical puzzles will be shared with the world.

I wish you an amazing day – Barry Leung

I drew the mythical whale during the summer of 2025. It was the first time I drew a painting like this in a long time. To me, it symbolizes a new beginning of any pursuit, and the beacon of hope for any adventures ahead.

Math Games is an entirely reader-supported publication dedicated to rekindling our love for simple math puzzles and illuminating the deeper ideas behind them. If you read it every day, or once in a while, and you value the effort and time that goes into it, considering liking this article and sharing it with your friends and family.

And if you are feeling extra generous today, consider buying me a cup of coffee or visiting our Official Math Games Merch Store today.

Each and every one of your contributions goes towards my life and other Math Games projects I am working on. At the moment, I am developing a web-based multiple choice Math Games Saga, as well as building up the Math Games YouTube Channel.
