I provide specialist preparation for competitive UK university entrance exams, including Cambridge STEP 2 & 3, Oxford MAT, TMUA, and university interview preparation for mathematics and related degrees.
Lessons are designed to develop strong problem-solving skills, mathematical maturity, and the exam techniques needed to perform well in these demanding assessments. We work through past papers, build clear and structured approaches to unfamiliar problems, and strengthen key areas such as calculus, algebra, proof, and advanced problem-solving strategies.
Having personally taken the Oxford MAT (and been offered an interview at Oxford), as well as sitting STEP as part of my own entrance requirements for the University of Warwick, I have first-hand experience of the style, pressure, and expectations of these exams.
Preparation can also include mock interview questions, mathematical discussion practice, and coaching on how to communicate clear reasoning under pressure, helping students build both confidence and strong performance in high-stakes admissions.
